Professional Carrier: High-Commissioner of Planning with the rank of a Minister (Since October 2003); Minister of Social Economy, Small and Medium Enterprises and Handicraft; in Charge of the General Affairs of the Government (1998-2002);
From 1968 until 1971, He was successively Director of technical and economic studies and then vice General Director of the Agriculture Bank (CNCA) before insuring the position of General Secretary of the Tourism Ministry in 1971 and then that of the Planning and Regional Development Department in 1973.
Publications: Director of the publication « Agriculture et Pêche » in the Wide Moroccan Encyclopaedia. Author of several studies and articles in « La Revue de Géographie du Maroc », « le Bulletin économique et social », « la revue française » « les Temps Modernes » etc. Member of the Steering Committee of « 50 years of Human Development in Morocco and perspectives for 2025.
